My hunt involved 14 days of sitting in the woods dawn till dusk.

The actual time from when I first laid eyes on my buck till he was deceased was about 5 seconds.

First second you catch movement out of the corner of your eye.

Second second you determine that it is a deer.

Third second you determine that it is a legal buck.

2 seconds later he is laying on the ground right where he stood.

 

But the biggest part is the time spent with friends and family.
