Can anyone recommend a good, clean, easy to install LED Light Bar for the trunk. I just want to light up the back of the bike better than it is from the factory.

Here are some pics of the one I installed in 2013 on my 2012. Purchased from Diamond R. Part 'RSV Slimline Lightbar. Easy install. At that time it cost $54.95. One of the pics. is with my blue led's on.

Steve K sells two versions, both pretty well plug in.

I got the one with the extra wires to hook up my existing trailer wiring.

Mounts easily, wiring was just plug and then use his extra wires for direct replacement of mine.

Degree of difficulty is,,, can you remove and install the rear seat?

I already had bright red LED's for my run/turn/brake, so if you are following me,,, you see me.

Looks like it's Steve's kit, but how do you order through the classifieds? Do I just send him a message?

Yes you can send him a private message and he can send you an invoice back. He prefers paypal, but can accept a check.

You guys weren't kidding, very clean and easy install. Given, I already had the bike torn apart, but even if it was all together it would have been nearly as easy. Thanks for the recommendation and a big thank you to Steve for supplying a quality part and amazingly fast shipping.

Glad to hear everything went so easy. You will learn quickly on here before you start tearing apart your bike to work on something, ask on here first. Everyone on here will says the same thing. This site has saved us lots of money and time. Also rule #1 here is you must post pics.

I'll post pics when she's all put back together. I had her ripped apart to change the tires, so nothing was in the way like the seat and such.

Not only does Steve Wiring but he does all types of quick connects all you have to do is ask him and he can probably make it for you the man is a guru when it comes to Wiring plug and plays

Here's mine with the new lights and tires installed. My son helped me put her back together, first time he's got to do anything more than an oil change and he was pretty excited to help.

Nope, there are to many others already doing Goldwing plug and plays for much cheaper than I can do them. Shoot I cannot even by the parts for less than what some folks are selling completed assemblies for, I need to find out where they getting their parts.
