JDaniel Posted November 17, 2014 #1 Posted November 17, 2014 Okay Flyin Fool, you can aim that machine somewhere else. 3" of snow on the ground and I had to make the deceision to call off school for today. We always error on the side of safety when it comes to the children.
etcswjoe Posted November 17, 2014 #2 Posted November 17, 2014 This weekend looked at the weather map and the snow went from the Mexican border to the Canadian border.
Flyinfool Posted November 17, 2014 #3 Posted November 17, 2014 (edited) ONLY 3"? It was supposed to be 6". I must have messed up, I'll have to recalibrate and try it again ....... I did add in a super charger to the system for this year, I am not quite sure yet on how much boost to run........ So you are saying that I should aim it back at ol Pucs house? 3" is enough to close schools? They don't even start talking about school closing here till there is a foot on the ground, and then they are only just starting to talk about it. Edited November 18, 2014 by Flyinfool
Jayceesfolly Posted November 18, 2014 #4 Posted November 18, 2014 3" of snow and they close the schools?? Up here in Roc, the roads don't even close with 30" of snow, much less the schools. We are more apt to have schools closed due to windchill than snow. They generally are closed when the windchill gets below 10 below zero on a sustained basis. I should have gone to school in OH. I would have had half the winter off!
Flyinfool Posted November 18, 2014 #6 Posted November 18, 2014 Last winter there was snow in FL I'll bet it can happen again.
Pam Posted November 18, 2014 #9 Posted November 18, 2014 Just a skiff of snow here and a steady -100 c or 14 f. The ground and water are stiff, and I am already tired of it too

Dont push em to hard Dan O'..
Jayceesfolly Posted November 19, 2014 #14 Posted November 19, 2014 OK, Fool......you can turn off the machine. There is 70" of that white stuff near Buffalo in the last 24 hours and still coming down! All the highways are closed and Big Tom must be pulling his hair out in frustration. Now we have to be worried about warm temperatures over the weekend and local flooding. Jim
Jayceesfolly Posted November 19, 2014 #16 Posted November 19, 2014 Leo....That is a photo of the I-90 (Thruway) in Buffalo. The weather people say that Buffalo is going to get another 2 FEET tonight.
