K-Rider Posted November 16, 2014 #1 Posted November 16, 2014 Don't ever ask Dragonrider to find you a venture unless you mean it. He will find one for you. He called me last weekend to tell me about one in Ft Walton that was listed in the classified. I called Mike (the owner) and decided it was time to pull the trigger. It's is a good running bike that just needs a little TLC. I know I will be asking for some help from you folks from time to time. I'm looking forward to trying to make it like new again. As soon as I figure out how to add some pictures I will . Thanks Dragonrider for your persistence . P.S. If you bump into my wife.......RUN!!!!!

Ok,,, here we go,,, click here,,http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?89696-Converted-another-one Hope Fozzy forgives for that one..... Anyway,,,, CONGRATS ON THE NEW BIKE K!! DragonRider Posted November 17, 2014 #3 Posted November 17, 2014 I warned him about making a post about buying the Venture and posting it on here, but no, he pleads ignorance, I said to him, just so you wont get picked on and harassed, you need to post a picture or pictures of the bike when you announce it, that is rule number one here at VR. I told him, now evidently he didn't believe me, so let him have it folks...........HE WAS WARNED. THIS POST IS USELESS WITHOUT PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
billmac Posted November 17, 2014 #4 Posted November 17, 2014 Just another I've got this old bike, don't mean anything without pic's. If you had a 2nd gen you would have had pictures.
K-Rider Posted November 18, 2014 Author #5 Posted November 18, 2014 OK. I will try and post some pictures. Thanks for your patience and understanding. lol.
cowpuc Posted November 18, 2014 #6 Posted November 18, 2014 OK. I will try and post some pictures. Thanks for your patience and understanding. lol. Your welcome K,, we all know that patience is a virtue and most of us really are virtuous... I think Lewis was just trying to give you a heads up about how it works around here,, he was just trying to let you know that everyday that goes by that you dont post a picture of your new bike is gonna cost ya big time at the ice cream store when we all stop for a cone,,,, it can get embarrassing when an unsuspecting pic rule violater gets handed a bill for 50 bucks worth of ice cream,,, its especially bad if ya happen to be with some of these yahoos who eat 5 or 6 cones at a stop....
Flyinfool Posted November 18, 2014 #7 Posted November 18, 2014 Just another I've got this old bike, don't mean anything without pic's. If you had a 2nd gen you would have had pictures. Thats only because 2nd gens are slow enough to get a pic of them easily. Congrats on a nice ride, I hope to see it person some day since it seems it can not slow down enough to get a pic of it. ICE CREAM???????? I like ice cream. MMMmmmmmm...........
Yammer Dan Posted November 18, 2014 #8 Posted November 18, 2014 He Ain't got no bike!! I cain't see it!!! Put it behind a 2nd Gen you can get all kinds of Pics!! If you can ride that slow...
K-Rider Posted November 19, 2014 Author #9 Posted November 19, 2014 Thanks for the heads up on the ice cream rule Cowpuc. I will have to do a ride-by when everyone turns into the DQ.
cowpuc Posted November 19, 2014 #10 Posted November 19, 2014 Thanks for the heads up on the ice cream rule Cowpuc. I will have to do a ride-by when everyone turns into the DQ. Your welcome my friend,,, you will have to check with your buddy Lewis but I think you beat the bell anyway... If not,, I wouldnt worry to much about it,,,, the other part of that rule is that those guys gotta be able to catch ya to collect on the ice cream bill and,, after checking out the pics of your new ride you have NOTHING to worry about with this bunch,,, like DragonRider said - very very few of us ride the faster MK-1's,, most of these lop eared Varmints are riding the much slower 2nd Gens so they always have to pay for their own ice cream anyway.... Unless the Boss is around,, he rides a Harley so he buys a LOT of ice cream,,, but,, he is the boss so we dont tease em much.... THAT is one sharp machine partner - CONGRATS!!!
