gez Posted November 10, 2014 #1 Posted November 10, 2014 I live in a townhome without a garage. I have two assigned parking spaces. The Homeowners Association got all bent out of shape because I parked my Kia Soul and the Venture in one space. They fit fine and actually took up less space than the my pickup. After discussion, I gave in and parked my truck off property leaving the Venture in one space and the Soul in the other. Two o'clock Sunday morning security had the Venture towed. I went and retrieved it at a cost of $178. The association president who authorized the tow now says it shouldn't have been towed and expects the security company to reimburse me. Fortunately the security head is a reasonable man and will write me a check. The association president, well if you don't have anything nice to say........... Security guy says he will not tow another vehicle from the neighborhood as rules seem to change depending on whose vehicle it is.
rbig1 Posted November 10, 2014 #2 Posted November 10, 2014 should have parked bike in back of truck. that why I don't live where there is a hoa. my property not there's. if we have problems have to talk to each other.lol
MikeWa Posted November 10, 2014 #3 Posted November 10, 2014 If it were me I would re read my agreement looking for the limitation of one vehicle per stall. I would also be looking for wayward parked bicycles. And then have an attorney write them a stern letter explaining that I can indeed park my Kia and Venture in one parking slot. Just my thought.
