Today we were able to complete a PGR Mission that did not end with a tear, condolences or a heavy heart !:cool10:

We were asked to surprise a 90 year old WWII Veteran at his 90th birthday party. The only Mission Orders were be LOUD !! VARRoooom. :shock3:

We showed up (about 20 bikes) with flagged bikes and trikes. Walter even went for ride on a trike around his neighborhood! :)

Our group always sings "I'm proud to be an American" (Lee Greenwood's song) before we start, this time they asked that we wait until we get there and include Walter. What a smile he had !! He was then presented with a plaque, flag and handmade quilt. AND.... since he went for a ride, they presented him with a PGR First Mission pin !

Anyway, it was just cool to have a Happy Mission for a change.

Totally AWESOME KIC!! God bless each of you who participated in doing that - you folks certainly made that hero's day - I can see it in his face:usa::usa::usa:

Not to ruin your thread but I gotta tell ya,, your undertaking actually brought a tear to my eye - sorry about that... It was a happy tear though!!!!!:backinmyday:

Nice to know you got to celebrate a survivor rather than to morn a loss for a change, even though both equally deserve their due respect.
