A little help if anyone has some input... George In Virginia
geresti Posted March 21, 2008 #2 Posted March 21, 2008 I had the same problem and what you need is an impact screwdriver Just put the screwdriver on the screw and hit it with a hammer and it turns it with no problem but don't go trying to get them out without one or you WILL strip them. Good luck, Bob http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/5/5_2_110.gif http://www.smileycentral.com/sig.jsp?pc=ZSzeb096&pp=ZNxmk393BBUS
RPG Posted March 21, 2008 #3 Posted March 21, 2008 They can be a pain alright, I was forced used an impact on mine as well. The impact did the job quickly and easily though.
KeithR Posted March 21, 2008 #4 Posted March 21, 2008 Yep one of my screws made me sweat a bit after I stripped it.....grabbed the head with a small pair of vice grips to get it out. Keith
