I'm thinking of adding the class (Computerised air levelling system) to my standard 1983 XVZ1200, I know I'll have to change the wiring loom and add the rear compressor and right control panel so my question is, "has anyone done this already"?

Although anything is possible if you throw enough time and money at it I wouldn't bother. You can't adj it on the fly, only stopped engine off and the ignition switch in acc not run and on the center stand. The class control panel is notorious for cold solder joins that need repair. Lots of extra wires and plumbing. You can adj the shocks with a small air pump from Harley for about $50 and if you put Progressive springs in the front forks you wont need the air assist anyway. Same if you go to the Progressive spring in the rear. If not replaced by now your springs are probably tired anyway and should be replaced.

Thanks for the info Paul, yes you do make a point, so there's no real benefit in doing it, I thought it was self levelling and adjusted to the road as you go along?
