Venturous Randy Posted November 1, 2014 #1 Posted November 1, 2014 While coming out of Virginia back into Tennessee a couple days ago, I saw regular 87 octane at $2.59.9. What is the lowest you have seen? RandyA
Angelo Posted November 1, 2014 #2 Posted November 1, 2014 $2.84 in AZ at the pump but one of the gas stations here you can get up to $1 off per gallon if you shop at a certain store and get enough points.
Kirby Posted November 1, 2014 #3 Posted November 1, 2014 My wife and I did a run from south Ga to Florida, then west through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, into Texas, then north to Arkansas and back home. Some backroads but mostly I-10 and I-20 and the lowest I saw was $2.65. Seven states in five days. 1850 Miles.
seabeetom Posted November 1, 2014 #4 Posted November 1, 2014 Filled up yesterday at Sams Club in Gulfport. $2.62.
Prairiehammer Posted November 1, 2014 #5 Posted November 1, 2014 In tax happy Illinois, the cheapest I have seen is $2.87.9.
kensattitude Posted November 1, 2014 #6 Posted November 1, 2014 $2.50.9 in Carrollton, KY at Murphy USA w/o Wal Mart gas card.
CaptainJoe Posted November 1, 2014 #7 Posted November 1, 2014 Here's a good read as to why fuel prices have dropped: http://www.businessinsider.com/americans-are-so-surprised-how-low-gas-prices-are-that-theyre-sharing-photos-of-it-2014-10
midnightrider1300 Posted November 1, 2014 #8 Posted November 1, 2014 lowest I've seen is in Fulton, Ms $2.52
friesman Posted November 1, 2014 #9 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) We are under .99 a liter (that should be about 3.80 US gal) in some stations around here.....its been a long time since Ive seen that... Brian Edited November 1, 2014 by friesman
djh3 Posted November 2, 2014 #10 Posted November 2, 2014 Couple weeks ago when it first started dropping we saw 2.68 in SC, between Sapphire Valley NC and Savannah Ga and then home to Fla. We are 2.86 gal today here in Sebring.
1joeranger Posted November 2, 2014 #12 Posted November 2, 2014 $2.44 yesterday using Speedway card! Really, really nice!!
pbjman Posted November 2, 2014 #14 Posted November 2, 2014 I heard on the radio yesterday that the statewide average in Michigan is $2.99 for regular unleaded. That's about what I've been seeing everywhere around where I live and work. Best I've paid is 2.29 because I built up .70 off with my Kroger card, so I filled up my van and two gas cans to get the 35 gallon limit.
