kantornado Posted November 4, 2014 #101 Posted November 4, 2014 I LOVE it Don, I have a hard time seeing and have color problems. That blue really hurt my eyes and was hard for me to see. So a BIG THANK YOU from me.......
BIG TOM Posted November 4, 2014 #102 Posted November 4, 2014 So far , so good Don...except for the fact that its hard to teach OLD DOGS NEW TRICKS....but I'll get the hang of it.....Good job Don..
Carbon_One Posted November 4, 2014 #103 Posted November 4, 2014 Did we have a previous feature that when clicking on a topic we were sent directly to our last viewed post? Currently when we click a topic we go straight to the 1st post then need to try to remember where we last read at, thus re-surfing thru posts till we get where we last left off. Thanks, Larry
Freebird Posted November 4, 2014 Author #104 Posted November 4, 2014 Larry, I don't even remember how it was on the old one. Under the title of each post though it lists the name of the person who started the thread. Just after than is shows some of the page numbers but that last number is the last page of posts.
Freebird Posted November 4, 2014 Author #105 Posted November 4, 2014 OK....I actually found what you are looking for. All the way to the right it shows who the last poster was i the thread, Beside his or her name is a box...red for me on this red style...click on that box and it takes you to the last post.
Dragonslayer Posted November 4, 2014 #106 Posted November 4, 2014 How do you submit a new ad in the classifieds, Classifieds do not seem to be user friendly and spent 3o minutes trying to figure our how to place a new listing. And before you say it I keep hitting the New Listing button and nothing happens.
Freebird Posted November 4, 2014 Author #107 Posted November 4, 2014 For what it's worth, they never actually seem to be friendly. I constantly got emails and complaints about the old one also. You are doing the right thing if you are clicking on "New Listing". When you do that a drop down menu should open. Are you just quickly clicking or are you giving it the 2 milliseconds that it requires for the menu to drop down. From the menu, choose "Buy Now". Which is their dumb way of saying for sale. After you click "Buy Now", a box will open for you to choose a category and etc. Before you can actually place an ad though, you need to click on the user panel and fill out your address and etc.
Snarley Bill Posted November 4, 2014 #108 Posted November 4, 2014 is the calender not working yet, or am i doing something wrong?
Freebird Posted November 4, 2014 Author #109 Posted November 4, 2014 It's working. Got it going a few days ago. Add Event just to the right of the top of the calendar. Let me know after you screw up your listing and I'll redo it for you like always.

Millennium is official listed in the Classifieds for sale.

Flyinfool Posted November 4, 2014 #112 Posted November 4, 2014 I tried to use advanced search to find one of my old threads. I was searching for "resistor" in a thread started by me. Advanced search finds nothing. Regular search did find it but it but it found all threads by anyone with "resistor" in them I finally found mine on page 4 of looking thru all of the posts. IS advanced search not working yet? or is there something where it only searches threads since the change? Or have I taken toooo many pain pills again.......

Don, is it possible to get the "Google" search of the site back?
Freebird Posted November 4, 2014 Author #114 Posted November 4, 2014 I'm going to try. The built in search never worked very well.
Freebird Posted November 4, 2014 Author #115 Posted November 4, 2014 the list of attendees for the international is not right. it shows 21 rsvpd, and goes vertical. It's working right Bill. We lost the RSVPs with the move. I posted earlier and asked people to go back and sign up again. It was always vertical though. The biggest difference now is that it also shows the member avatars. That is something I can turn off if you could would like me to.
SilvrT Posted November 4, 2014 #116 Posted November 4, 2014 Millennium is official listed in the Classifieds for sale. hmmmmmmmmmm.... I don't see it ?
Freebird Posted November 4, 2014 Author #117 Posted November 4, 2014 I added a google search function that I found. I don't think I llke it though. It is actually integrated with the regular search field. If you enter, for example, TCI...a google window will pop open and show you results. Kind of flaky the way it works. I only installed it on the Blue theme for now.
kevin-vic-b.c. Posted November 4, 2014 #118 Posted November 4, 2014 I think what Larry referred to was if you had been to a thread...others post to it.... when you returned on the top left was a bubble to go to the first new post... i think it said first unread. If that is what Larry referred I miss it also.
Freebird Posted November 5, 2014 Author #120 Posted November 5, 2014 It is still there. Right beside the bi Icon to the left of each thread. There is a round bubble that you click on to take you to the first NEW thread.
WildBill1 Posted November 5, 2014 #121 Posted November 5, 2014 I phone want reach site or computer without going thru Google trying too keep an open mind about this site. Get some stupid 404 error message. Whats better about this site being able to change background colors?
Freebird Posted November 5, 2014 Author #122 Posted November 5, 2014 Have you deleted your bookmarks to the site and created new ones? That s very easy and would likely solve the problem.
WildBill1 Posted November 5, 2014 #123 Posted November 5, 2014 Have you deleted your bookmarks to the site and created new ones? That s very easy and would likely solve the problem. Got the bookmark changed on my phone try changing computer next.
M61A1MECH Posted November 5, 2014 #124 Posted November 5, 2014 Don, On the lower command bar (below the one that has "What's New" on the left hand side, the command button just below that has double text in it making it hard to read, at one point it read "New Posts". Also in the classifieds every time you do an edit on a listing , it unselects the postage setting check box.
