djh3 Posted November 5, 2014 #51 Posted November 5, 2014 Glad your doing OK Jeff. Sometimes I think these Dr operate (no pun) like car sales people. Usually about the 3rd question is "how much do you owe on your trade"? Then surprisingly enough thats pretty close to what they will give you. Docs same thing. I think they put in how much the insurance wil let them milk out. Me being on military and VA medical, not to much, so doc's usually send me down the pike, if they are civilian.
Flyinfool Posted November 8, 2014 Author #52 Posted November 8, 2014 Well I went to see the surgen. He said it looks great. He also said that they found a tumor while they were in there so they took that out too "as long as he was in there". (I wonder if he has been reading my posts on this site.....) Pathology said it was completely benign, Whew! Next Tuesday I go to see the new heart doc to see about getting that fixed. Yes I have been explained a bunch of possible and realistic scenarios, I did not really like any of them.....

Prayers Up for your continued healing!! Ya know Puc, I may need some help with the machine. It does use heat as its power source. A foundry may be a perfect heat source. ANd since the machine is built out of unobtainium, it can not be melted by any source, so that foundry would be just perfect so see what it can really do.

Just give the word Fool and I will stop by and pick it up.. Talked to my buddy with the foundry and he is shut down for maintenance right now,,, I also have a friend who owns a sub zero freezer complex that operates off liquid nitrogen, maintains -4000 degrees year around inside.. Said I could store the White Washer inside there till the foundry work is done.. Guys a really good friend who wont pressure me to remove the ol White Washer till the Foundry is ready.. You can trust me when I say that the foundry maintenance wont take to long..
Flyinfool Posted December 2, 2014 Author #56 Posted December 2, 2014 Well step one has been a success. They were able to put all of my inerds back in where they belong with no further complications. The incision site is still a little tender but I guess that is expected for a while yet. Now for the other problem. I went to the cardiologist again today and the drugs so far are working as hoped, things are at least stabilized. Tonight I start on the drugs that might actually try to kick start the deadbeat half of the heart. I will find out when I go back in another 2 weeks.
Angelo Posted December 2, 2014 #58 Posted December 2, 2014 Positive thoughts and prayers for you my friend, enjoy seeing you torture those poor guys in the Midwest.

cowpuc Posted December 5, 2014 #64 Posted December 5, 2014 I may need to make a batch or three for medicinal purposes....... FYI Fool,,, if your wondering where your last batch of medicinal Rum Balls got off to,, I stuffed those left over Rum Balls into the nozzles while I was there figuring that for some of us,, slowing down the machine is - in fact - medicinal... Thoughts and prayers for ya Jeff!!

Not iffin they considered the fact that when those Rum filled balls finally let go and come flyinfool out of those nozzles at mach 6 turning normally unwelcome white wash into heavenly manna scattered all across our country Fool! Betcha those "smacks" will now turn into pat on the backs for ol Puclster.....

Flyinfool Posted December 16, 2014 Author #69 Posted December 16, 2014 Time for an update. Went to see the cardiologist again today. The meds seem to be working and the lazy half of my heart has restarted. There is still a bit of a miss in there but for the most part it is now back to running on all four cylinders. The doc adjusted the meds just like a fine tuner would tweak the carbs to get an engine running nice and smooth. The doc and I are both very optimistic that this last tweak will do the trick. It just means that I will be having one meal a day The doc also wrote me a prescription for an ECG machine to keep handy so I can monitor my condition. AND this is the third Doc in a row that has said I have the heart and metabolism of an elite athlete. I wish to thank all of you that have kept me in your thoughts and prayers. Now that we have this pretty much under control I can get back to doing things that are more fun.
XV1100SE Posted December 16, 2014 #70 Posted December 16, 2014 Good to hear positive news on your condition !
