SapperMedic Posted October 20, 2014 #1 Posted October 20, 2014 My son's Shadow seems to be running hot on the rear cylinder. I rode it the other day and why would the front cylinder be cooler than the rear. I think maybe the rear carb is running lean. Any thoughts?
Peder_y2k Posted October 21, 2014 #2 Posted October 21, 2014 Either rich or lean will result in some unburned fuel entering the exhaust where it oxidizes creating hotter exhaust gasses. My 1st gen has exhaust so cool that I can place my hand over and contacting the end of the exhaust without burning. -Pete, in Tacoma WA USA
