Ben Rollins Posted October 19, 2014 #1 Posted October 19, 2014 This winter I plan on doing some work on my 83(Gloria), I want her to be louder than stock, Has anyone tried slip on that work? Ebay has fishtails for the 83 that will fit so they say. Any ideas?

Ebay has fishtails for the 83 that will fit so they say. Any ideas? Actually Jardine and MAC made slip-ons for the 1stGens, but both have quit production. I do see a set of MACs appear on eBay once in a while. The starting bid is usually around $200. If you don't have the patients to shop daily, I'd suggest drilling out rear plate on a set of OEMs for a little added rumble....
camos Posted October 19, 2014 #3 Posted October 19, 2014 I've never done it but isn't there a fairly simple conversion that uses HD pipes which can often be had for a reasonable sum when that crowd goes for the Screaming Eagle or similar very loud pipes?
Bob Myers Posted October 19, 2014 #4 Posted October 19, 2014 I know there is for second Gen, unsure if this'll work on first Gen Ben, does this all mean you are actually going to start riding again?
