THE NATL WEATHER SVC IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A

 

* TORNADO WARNING FOR.

WEST CNTL PIERCE COUNTY IN WEST CNTL WA.

THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF FORT LEWIS.

 

* UNTIL 1230 PM PDT.

 

* AT 1220 PM PDT.TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A WATERSPOUT :shock3:

NEAR ANDERSON ISLAND. IT WAS HEADING EAST TOWARD STEILACOOM.OR

NEAR FORT LEWIS.MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

 

* THE TORNADO WILL OTHERWISE REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF THE

INDICATED COUNTY.

 

 

I guess I need to wear my hard hat and life jacket during fall weather now.....:depressed:

That was a pretty impressive water spout on the news. It was estimated at 400 yards wide. Just sucking the water out of Puget Sound. Makes me wonder if we are going to get a salt water rain.

I was stationed there frum 72-75 then 91-92 lov it.. never had that kind of weather,, yall enjoy get sum good wet weather gear..
