Ahoy!

Need to confirm: On a 1st Gen (1.2), the "neutral switch" is the same as the "gear selecter" switch...located at the very bottom of the bike...seen between the frame pieces but accessable by removing the cover. It is a white phenolic looking piece with a screws and electrical connections?

Looks like mine is leaking....and from what I read here...it's not exactly easy to get to, clean and put a new seal on....

TIA,

david

P.S. No picture...can't get in there!

Is this what you are looking at as the leak? There is an O-ring around that phenolic looking switch. Usually it is orange (the O-ring). Some have experienced a leak at that switch, because the white phenolic looking thing was cracked.

You will also probably require a new middle gear cover gasket as well. And don't forget the copper sealing washer on the bolt at 6 o'clock on the middle gear cover.
