1 - UP Posted October 10, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) I'm back reading what you all have to say. Back in April I had back surgery and the doctors removed 4 disks and replace them ( L2,3,4,and 5) they also injected some of my stem cells into the psudo disks that replaced the ones they took out. I haven't felt like riding maybe that is the reason why I haven't been on the site very much. I'm slowly getting better. I have rode a few times, but not very far. The last visit to the doctor I was told that three out of the four disks are doing real well and growing bone like they should. Number L5 is being slow about getting the job done. They told me that I would get 80% back, I hope that is so, I plan on being a Vogel next year and riding those rodes that I missed the last time. I hope everybody is doing well, 1 - UP Ken:backinmyday: Edited October 10, 2014 by 1 - UP mispelled word

DragonRider Posted October 11, 2014 Share #6 Posted October 11, 2014 Had dinner with our cousin Jerry, they stopped coming through Atlanta and we met them for dinner. Jerry looks great, still crazy though. Glad to hear your healing, take it easy and dont push the riding too soon. The ride to Memphis and back was way too much for me, it was the first long ride I have had in over a year. Didnt get much riding done at all since my neck surgery in Dec. Look forward to seeing you soon at Jerry's new place.
1 - UP Posted October 11, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted October 11, 2014 Thanks guys! I don't plan on doing anything that my doctor doesn't tell me that I can. This Doctor was an Army doctor taking care of those crazy guys that jump out of airplanes. So, he knew about Feet, Knees, Necks, and Backs. He developed a new way of back surgery. He went through my side, not through the back or front. Lewis, I'm glad that you got to see Jerry. 1 - UP Ken
