sarges46 Posted December 29, 2014 #26 Posted December 29, 2014 Another thought. I put on leveling links which raised the back end a little. For me this was the worst thing I have ever done to a bike! I thought I was going to crash on every corner. I couldn't wait to get them off and return to normal. Also with tires I personally have never run what the book says. I normally run 5 pounds less than what the max rating that is listed on the tire itself. All the other advice is great and I have used that advice several times myself.
midnightrider1300 Posted December 29, 2014 #27 Posted December 29, 2014 replace tires with the above mentioned tires... Air pressure in shocks..... I run 4 in front & 40 in the rear as I ride 2 up a lot, but at this setting it still handles great 1 up....there i a wealth of knowledge here and members will more than gladly share .......
