beltfed50 Posted October 1, 2014 #1 Posted October 1, 2014 @ 32000 mile service dealer found left fork bushings worn...so after talking to Rick Butler and emailing with Sonic springs I decided to change to Sonic's 1.2 rate fork springs while they were disassembled, & put 10 wt oil back in. Rode it today...wow. I'm gonna like this.
djh3 Posted October 1, 2014 #2 Posted October 1, 2014 I have not noticed a degrade ride, but under recomendation of a couple fellow riders on another board Im on I did change the oil. I went a bit heavier with, the 10w also. Still run about 4lb air but the feel is less bumpy if that makes any sense.
Freebird Posted October 1, 2014 #3 Posted October 1, 2014 You are going to love those Sonic springs. Rick steered me toward them several years ago. I am convinced that they are a better choice than the Progressives for the RSV.
