CB radio channels

I just got a headset for the 07 Venture and was wondering if there was a special channel for motorcyclists, (like 19 for truckers)?

Try channel 29 for Ventures and ch 1 for Goldwings. Most will probably be monitoring ch 19 if not traveling in a group.

 

Others on here may have additional channels to try.

i think that channel 11 is for RV'ers not sure for bikes.

Theoretically, the RV channel is 13, but there aren't many that monitor it. Most monitor the trucker channels (17 and 19).

Unless you are meeting a group on running 19, don't expect to find anyone just monitoring the radio - just does not seem to happen.

I have the squelch fairly high, but I monitor 19 when I'm solo. I do scan 29 and the others if nothing's happening, but it's usually set to 19.
