Simply for fun.....

When I was very young, I'm thinking back in the mid-60s or so, there was some kind of noise maker that mounted to our Bicycles that had a lever that you 'wound up' or 'pumped up' to make it sound like your bike had an engine. If memory serves me right, I am picturing something mounting on the cross bar of a boys bike and there was a yellow lever that we would pull back towards the banana seat. The faster you pulled the lever the louder it got and the longer it lasted. I don't have a clue what to search for on Ebay.

Hey, maybe I need one for my Trike!

Nopers - That isn't it.

Dog-gone-it, I also posted this to my Facebook page and no one there can remember it either. I can't believe that I am the only one that remembers this.

This will bug me until someone else remembers it.

Well, after zooming in on the Pic, I think it WAS the V-Roooom. It seems to me that after some use, the Red Switch wouldn't stay up and we would have to hold it up to make the sound - making it a two-handed task.

I may have to order one then figure out a way to mount it to my Trike!
