ricksbike Posted October 8, 2014 #54 Posted October 8, 2014 Glad you came out of it with your body more or less in one piece, hope you heal quickly,it`s always amazed me that (cage) drivers can be so unaware of their surroundings,I know we all have seen some of these people on the road, you just want to pull them out of their vehicle and slap them until they wake up,OK enough ranting,God Bless heal quickly.
Prairiehammer Posted April 11, 2015 #55 Posted April 11, 2015 Ben @Daitan, I see that parts from your old '84 are being sold on eBay. Calling it a 1989. http://www.ebay.com/sch/autopartsheaven/m.html?item=201323851319&hash=item2edfd62e37&vxp=mtr&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

Daitan Posted April 12, 2015 Author #59 Posted April 12, 2015 Harley fat boy pipes. Not street legal ones. Which worked perfect for the bike. Not too loud but gave it some rumble and breathing room. $50 on eBay, brand new.
Daitan Posted April 12, 2015 Author #60 Posted April 12, 2015 Wishes for fast healing! Prayers Up! david Thanks, been back to work since Jan 6th.
WildBill1 Posted April 12, 2015 #61 Posted April 12, 2015 Did the Harley ever make it out of the dealer yet? Just curious......

Eck Posted April 12, 2015 #69 Posted April 12, 2015 Already got one, Very Nice!!!! Hope you get many safe riding miles out of it.
PBJ Posted April 12, 2015 #70 Posted April 12, 2015 So sorry to hear about the accident but glad its an injury and not death. As others have said the healing will be long but it will be healing. The bike will be replaceable. Good luck and get well.
shuttlebug Posted April 13, 2015 #71 Posted April 13, 2015 Sorry to hear you were in a wreck, glad it wasn't worse- though a broken pelvis is pretty serious! Godspeed and may you have a speedy recovery!
Condor Posted April 13, 2015 #72 Posted April 13, 2015 Glad to see you're getting around to riding again. Nice replacement. Remember..... when it comes to motorcycles all other vehicles have the right of way.... Whether they have it or not.... You'll always loose...
videoarizona Posted April 13, 2015 #73 Posted April 13, 2015 Teeny rant on: I long for the day when police officers no longer accept "I didn't see him" as a valid excuse when a car hits a motorcycle. To my way of thinking....when a driver gets in an accident because he/she "didn't see him", it should not matter whether they hit a bike, a cycle, a train, a plane, or a person....they still hit him and they should be cited! Rant off. Glad you are up and running with a new scoot!
