Congrats. Now for the 2 questions that have to be asked. 1: Does this mean this is going to be your new primary ride and we wont be seeing you anymore? 2:Did they also hand you the 1099 to go with it for taxes?

He Don maybe you found your grand prize you been looking for. :rotf:

Lucky you! Looks like a nice one.

My first Harley was a sportster. Good little bike for around town or to sell and pocket some money:)

Ok, it's a 2007 HD sportster. 883 L, bobber, has 12,800 miles. What it don't have and I will be adding is rear view mirrors and turn signals. I will also being changing the handle bars and sissy bar.

Rode it home 9 miles and it's quick, handles very different from the RSTD and a lot firmer ride (yes, has shocks). So much shorter in length and seat height.

CONGRATS BILL!! THOSE ARE AWESOME BIKES!! Helped a neighbor build his 07 up over the summer. It was an 883, took it out to 1200 - 52mm throttle body - cams - high comp pistons - tuner and pipes = 103 rear wheel horses:cool10::cool10::cool10:

Suckers a RIOT to ride, talk about nimble - like riding a dirtbike!!

Helped another neighbor turn one into a 3 wheeler. Talk about a BALL to ride.. Its like a big Honda 350X!!

Those sportys are soooooo freaking versatile it aint funny! There is soooooo much out there for em!!

Can I ask what year/model yours is, is it an 883 or 1200, how many miles? Not that it matters cause ANYTIME a buddy wins a motorcycle its a day to celebrate with him! CONGRATS my man, have fun with your new scoot brother!!

THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!

Ride it like you stole it Bill,,, or in your case - ride like you won it!:rotf::rotf:

You must have adding this while I was typing! Good on ya Bill - HD made a lot of changes on the Sporties and the newer the better! GOOD ones started in 07! If you have ANY interest at all in making it run really good a Tuner is a MUST have.. I only mention this because Harley has a way of obsoleting stuff fairly quickly, if there was one part that I STRONGLY suggest that you dont wait on its finding a tuner for it (again, only if you think you may wanna "play" with it someday).. Anything else, even though the parts may go obsolete, seem to be readily available all the way back into the AMF bikes!!

Thats a very nice model year, extremely good motors. The thing I really like about the sporty is they are gear driven cams stock - no cam chains or tensioners to worry about..

WOW,, THAT is exciting that you won it!! TOTALLY AWESOME!! :cool10::cool10::cool10::cool10:
