Tip-over bars

I would like to have tip-over bars that would protect the upper fairing on the First Gen.

 

Any ideas??

I've been thinking about that too. Something similar in design to the ones for the Honda ST 1300 paired with the one for the V-Strom might work. Keeping the OEM engine guard would be a plus as well.

 

There are a few pix here of both types.

 

 

 

This would of course be a custom venture for the Venture.

Thanks, I had seen the 1300 bars on police bikes and thought that might work, with some bracket welding.

Gee,I could have really used a set last week when my lovely wife backed into my 92VR and knocked it over,worst view I`ve ever had of my bike,I could see both tires and my whole exhaust system.

Here are a set of rare crash bars that came from an 86 Venture I have that are moving on to a new home.They bolt up to the OEM bolt holes and offer tip over protection. I have not seen a pair like this ever for this year of bike.
