After almost 14 years we had to put down our cairn terrier on 9/11.

Bernie didn’t want hugs and kisses, just a belly or back rub would do, we joked he that he had rigor mortis when picked up he was so stiff except for the day we brought him home.

Bernie was my garage buddy protecting all my man stuff and he accompanied me to our cottage we are rebuilding to make sure the job was well done.

Bernie buddy, this beer’s for you! RIP

I know your pain with having to do that. 3 years ago, we had to put one of our dogs down, then 3 months later, we had to put our other dog down. It is an extremely hard thing to do, and hurt very much. I swore that i would never get another dog, but my daughter talked me into it, and I am so glad she did. Time, and this new little dog helped heal the wounds from losing the others.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Motiv,, I know your pain all to well too brother and you have my deepest condolences!! The unconditional love that a dog imparts to a caring owner is nothing short of amazing, making the time your going thru very difficult.

May your pain and grief be lessened knowing you have family here who understands and cares!
