Sailor Posted September 14, 2014 #1 Posted September 14, 2014 Just got back from the Port Alberni toy run. We run from Little Qualicum Falls into Port Alberni, about a 40 minute run. I was number 430 when I went in and parked the bike. I went for coffee and donuts and when I got back another 1000 bikes had pulled in. Had a heck of a time finding my bike again. There is one section in the middle of town going up a steep hill where everyone cranks it hard. Had a Harley pull up next to me and challenge me. That lasted about 1.5 seconds until he was fading back in my mirrors. One guy was right up front at the start then could not get his bike started. 1500 bikers had to go around him. Guess what brand it was. On the ferry home I met a guy who said he had run into a toy run on Saltspring last Sept. I told him that was the last weekend in August. He said the guy leading was wearing a Santa suit He nearly choked when I said that would be me.
