Motorcycle Mike Posted September 9, 2014 #1 Posted September 9, 2014 I pulled the trike out of the garage at 04:30 this morning to ride to work. As I'm leaving the neiborhood I realize the only lights hiting the road are my passing lights. The headlight is illuminating the roof tops. No problem I think, I'll just adjust them down with the knob under the fairing. Wrong! Before the light gets anywhere near the road it bottoms out and starts pulling it to the left. No doubt this is caused by rakeing the front end. I'm sure I'm not the first to run into this. What did you do to fix it?
kensattitude Posted September 9, 2014 #2 Posted September 9, 2014 There are 2 adjustments in there, one with the knob on the left and a 10mm(?) bolt head on the right. I had the same problem the first time I got mine out at night, I could see behind me.

You need to take the fairing off to get to the headlite bucket and add a 5/16" thick washer behind the adjusting screw to push it lower. Ride safe Bob
Motorcycle Mike Posted September 9, 2014 Author #4 Posted September 9, 2014 I found the bolt Ken is refering to. I'll try that when I get home. If not I hope your just refering to the outer fairing Bob. Or are you?
kensattitude Posted September 9, 2014 #5 Posted September 9, 2014 It is a long winded bolt, don't give up cause it will suck it in.

Yup, that be the one. It's been 3 years since I did that, so I don't remember all the details Good luck Bob
Motorcycle Mike Posted September 10, 2014 Author #8 Posted September 10, 2014 Thanks Ken, that pulled it down real nice.
