M61A1MECH Posted September 6, 2014 #1 Posted September 6, 2014 Just got home from the dealer that had my 07 Venture on consignment, was going to drop off the spare keys and chit with the key number, but they sold it last night. Asked them to have the new owner contact me so I can turn them over to him or her. I am going to miss the Venture, but I am going to love riding this Goldwing.

M61A1MECH Posted September 6, 2014 Author #3 Posted September 6, 2014 Yup, a lot of mixed feelings, but I am sure I made the correct decision.
Carbon_One Posted September 6, 2014 #5 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) Know how you're feeling having seen our trike depart for its new home last weekend. yea a bittersweet moment bit then you have a new ride too. Barrycuda Posted September 7, 2014 #6 Posted September 7, 2014 Yup, a lot of mixed feelings, but I am sure I made the correct decision. Been there, done that. Especially since my brother is the one riding it around getting all the oohs and aahs... May sting less if I didn't see it all the time. However, I am fully enjoying the wing, and plan on meeting Donvito tomorrow. The wing definitely rocks....it has to the license reads ROKNWNG....
Mike G in SC Posted September 7, 2014 #7 Posted September 7, 2014 Okay Steve,,,, a man's got to do,,,,,, But,,, don't deactivate here (or there-ST),,, you know too much. And, Thanks, Mike G
M61A1MECH Posted September 7, 2014 Author #8 Posted September 7, 2014 Mike, Do not plan on going any where, as long as both will have me, just starting on the learning curve for the GL, will take a while to get a knowledge base built up on this girl. As long as I do not toast to many brain cells I will continue to contribute here and there when I can.

I have the same problem, but I just can't seem to get rid of old friends, I just find new ones....
Phoneman1981 Posted September 7, 2014 #10 Posted September 7, 2014 Congrats. The new owner will be making new memories as will you.
Barrycuda Posted September 7, 2014 #11 Posted September 7, 2014 Steve will start having those warm and fuzzy feelings for the GW, if he hasn't started already...
BlueSky Posted September 8, 2014 #12 Posted September 8, 2014 Well, one tiny little photo of your new bike just won't do! You gotta give us more!
M61A1MECH Posted September 8, 2014 Author #13 Posted September 8, 2014 I posted some photos a while back, here is a link to that post. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?p=850997#post850997 I have made a few subtle changes since those photos, most notable is removal of the giant windshield in favor of the stock windshield.
