Guest Highway Posted March 17, 2008 #1 Posted March 17, 2008 Was going with my wife to meet STEVE WAGNER yesterday to purchase one of his radiator covers for the 06 Venture. By the time we got out of Chattanooga, there was 8 bikes riding with us. It was a great day, cool early then warm later in the day. We were late as usual due to all the stops alone the way, but Steve was great at being patient waiting for us. The grill is well worth the purchase and fits and looks great on the bike. Hes a good man to do business with. Got a call from 86er alone the way to meet him there, but could not hook-up. Your number did not show upon my phone and I could not call you back, lets try in again. Lots of bikes in Helen and all alone the road. All in all it was a great ride.:cool10:
royalstarjac Posted March 17, 2008 #2 Posted March 17, 2008 We were in Helen yesterday also. I saw a black cherry RSV parked in front of Chattahoochie Biker Gear. Was that you? Also saw an 07 like mine and a couple of Midnights.-Jack
SteveW Posted March 17, 2008 #3 Posted March 17, 2008 Glad you and your crowd made it back to Chatt. It was great weather to be in Helen and I didn't mind at all hanging around. As a matter of fact A bunch of people were looking at my Hack Rig and even the Harley Riders liked it. Take it easy Terry and we will try to meet up with you in Panama City in May.
Guindalf Posted March 17, 2008 #4 Posted March 17, 2008 Wish I had known. I'm in Helen every Sunday and was there on the scoot yesterday!!!

We need some kind of sticker or something to put on the bikes so we will know who is who on trips and rallies. Someone needs to look into that. Would have liked to have met you. Next time...
Freebird Posted March 17, 2008 #6 Posted March 17, 2008 hmmm....I'm easy to spot. I fly a VentureRider flag off my trunk and have a VentureRider sticker on the back of my trailer.
86er Posted March 18, 2008 #7 Posted March 18, 2008 Sorry I missed you Highway! (And Steve and Jac and Guindalf!) I saw some 2nd gens but mainly on the road. Didn't see any parked. Jac, I think that I saw you outside Cleveland on the way home. You (or another Blue) were going the other way. I was at the Southside Bar & Grill for lunch. (Good looking bartender!) Then we had to head back to the Atl for Killer Creeks St Patties Party. (I won't say how nice the weather was cause I've already POed those that are snowed in!!!) THE WEATHER SUCKED!!!

Ok, Ok I get the message.. Where do I get the flag and sticker and is there a picture of them...? New & slow learner-Highway.
Freebird Posted March 20, 2008 #9 Posted March 20, 2008 LOL...no message intended. I actually don't know if there are any more flags available or not. You can PM or email Eddie and ask. He had them made up and did a great job. If fact, I think I'll contact him. Mine is starting to get a bit worn. Decals and other items are available under the "VetureRider Merchandise" topic area.
