If my memory serve me correctly, someone at one time posted a Craigslist address that was more generic and was not just local listings. If you were looking for something specific, it showed the whole country.

Am I correct on this and if I am, does anyone know this address?

I think what you are talking about will let you look statewide vs just an area.

use Google and type what you are looking for then site:craigslist.org and it will search everything.

 

Example if you are looking for a Venture type in Google Venture site:craigslist.org motorcycles

SearchTempest is also my choice when searching more than my immediate area.

 

Search tempest lets you specify a search distance, min / max price and other features. It can also search other for sale sites at the same time.

We used to use crazedlist but you can't use IE and crazedlist. It needs to hide it's identity.
