Snarley Bill Posted August 23, 2014 #1 Posted August 23, 2014 i finally got a good morning to take my new ruckus for a shakedown cruise. i left at 4:30 am and stopped for breakfast at hardys. on the way home i hit a good straitaway. with no traffic and reamed it out. it hit an incredible 43 mph even with my 250 lb. butt on it and a full tank of gas. needless to say i was impressed. i haven't got the nerve to ride it in daylight cuz someone i know might see me. when i got home i rolled it back into my shop and stripped it down and put my new tiny tach on it. this is a must when you start to tune the cvt tranny for more speed. the tach works great. i'm getting ready to go shopping for a new high performance rear shock. i figured i would take care of the few faults in the design before i get into the racing goodies. more exciting things to come. stay tuned. don't laugh it was this or model trains. now would'nt i look rediculous going down the street on a model train. eat your heart out b2 dad. ps the tiny tach was picked to keep weight to a minimum. snarley bill
