This Blue Tooth came off my helmet in an accident. I striped and cleaned the surface on both the Blue Tooth and the new Helmet. Put on what I thought was a strong double sided tape. But over a couple of months the tape gave up.

The Blue Tooth is behind the brown double sided tape that I pealed off.

Any good suggestion?

What kind of tape did you use? The 3M tape with the red backing is good. Available at most Automotive parts stores. Clean both surfaces with alcohol before putting it on.

I'll put a second to this as I have mounted many things with this tape and never had anything lose grip

Just another possibilty...velcro. I have used the 3m automotive trim tape and it will hold it also. Velcro..easy to remove and replace if needed.

I use the 3m stuff mostly,, put some stuff on the Venture 10 years ago and it's still there as it was then.

It's a little thick so if I need something thinner I use UGlu. It thin, absolutely miserable to work with, super sticky, and you need a world of patience, but it works!
