Bert2006 Posted August 15, 2014 #1 Posted August 15, 2014 Saw one of these today and man do they look slick. As the fellow stopped it seemed automaticaly deploy and then retract as he was pulling away. Neat. http://www.crossroadstrikes.com/Alternatives/RetractATrike.html Wonder if it could work on a Venture.
Motorcycle Mike Posted August 18, 2014 #2 Posted August 18, 2014 I considered this route before comiting to a trike but couldn't find one for the venture. Just wing's and Harleys. Used to see a guy the was a double ampute at one of the local bike nights that had one on his wing. He'd swing in the lot, the wheels whould come down, he'd park then slide his wheel chair off the back. Really impressive.
Venturous Randy Posted August 19, 2014 #3 Posted August 19, 2014 This might be a real good thing for the 96 Goldwing that I have that has reverse. It has to be a lot cheaper than the trike conversion and I could install it myself. I tried to look at their store for a price, but did not see one. RandyA
utadventure Posted August 19, 2014 #4 Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) Crossroads is a great shop to work with. The owner was in a motorcycle crash and is now in a wheelchair but continues to build his business. I could always take my '99 down for Gene to look at.... Dave Edited August 19, 2014 by utadventure
Triple J Posted August 19, 2014 #5 Posted August 19, 2014 I think they'd cause issues leaning into some of the curves I hit around my area. Looks like they hang awfully low when up IMO
