I have been doing searches on the lower deflecors without "clear" results...yamaha has individual parts(no kit) others make either a bracket or just the shield...??? not sure what to do, has anyone tried using the HD style? Not sure what they are called but they are either chrome or aluminum. They are far longer than stock yamaha, from fairing to fender almost..am I crazy, I think they look pretty cool???:confused24:

Looks good but that's one Harley part I have yet to see on our bikes. Diamondr makes a nice chrome one that will not break.

I think they only do the bracket..witch i dont even have currently

Hmm I wonder what happened. I know I bought the reflectors a couple years ago from them and presented them to my buddy here. They are very nice. Maybe they stopped making them.

SlowrollWV makes the deflector plates. If you have the passing light bracket he also makes a plate so you can move the deflectors back so they touch the forks properly

I have those on the side of my lowers. They work great. Open and angled in increases air fĺow on the feet and directing hot engine air to the back and away. Close them in cooler weather. They don't do much in the rain though.
