The old Blueberry patch has changed forever, biking in the blue...

Took a step back in time today,, was refreshing but also shocking.. Its amazing how fast things can change. It seems like just yesterday my kids were little and we were living off the land so to speak..

Our home was bordered by over 5 thousand acres of State Land, most of it land locked with old farm fields and stuff..

Years ago while out exploring this vast playground I discovered an abandoned Blueberry patch and spent many hours out there picking berries by the handful and hunting deer..

Tippy had a taste for some of those organic berries today and the season is upon us.. Being the good hubby that I am, I jumped on the Helix and took a ride over to the old playground.. WOW,, was I shocked at how things have changed!!!

Actually I scored some Don.. The back of the patch was still flooded pretty good and really mucky in places... Seems how my spiderman riding boots are used to getting wet I just mucked out there and grabbed some:backinmyday:

Yeaa,, I got a real problem with that Monty... On the same token though,,, twisting your head around watching a video is good excersize for preparing for those 15 days of biking your about to embark on!!!

That mean Tippy MADE me go without her cause she was nervous about bumping into snakes...

I will say this though Bill, even the Helix has gotten to the point where it feels really weird without her dangling on the back!!

Got to thinking ( not allowed to do that at home) after seeing where you've camped on your adventures I don't think she's afraid of any old snake. Thinking she must of been shopping and you snuck out for a quick ride on the Hex and found yourself farther away from home and came up with the berry picken story trip:no-no-no: caus when you got home and she was already home from shopping. didn't see any berries in the video or anywhere. Thinking (again) that young lady Tippy smack you around a little and your going to be telling people that the marks are from your berry pickin trip.:whistling:

Didn't see any berries on my screen either,,,! I think puc felt he needed some more movie time. Maybe he's looking for an offer from Hollywood and needs to advertize a bit more.
