Just use 1 oz per gallon like stated on the can. ride or let idle until the gas gets into the bowls seems to help the best, if you just add and park the bike the sea foam don't get into the bowls.

It depends on what you are trying to do.

If it is just for normal maintainance, then follow the instructions on the can.

If you are trying to clean a cruddy carb. You can use anywhere from a 1/4 can to as much as a full can in a tank. Some people have been known to run straight Seafoam into the carbs for a really bad case of the crud.

I have heard if you use too much you may foul your plugs.

I've heard it makes a great after diner cocktail too.

I have used it 2/3 Sea-Foam 1/3 gas. Have put full can to less than 1/4 tank. Helps with really cruddy carbs. Using full strength makes for hard restarting and could foul plug. Or throw a can of BerryMan's Chem Tech into 1/2 tank or so if carbs really need a good cleaning. Stronger than Sea-Foam but not as gentle on non metal parts. Can be used occasionally without harming anything.

If you put two cans in your tank.......then put a tape in the cassette deck of COUNTRY MUSIC and play it BACKWARDS.....

I have found some success with Startron from Starbrite. If I understand correctly, it does the same thing as seafoam but contains an enzyme which consumes the gunk. It is hard to find. I found in Wall-mart at the outboard motor or lawn motor section.

It comes in a blue bottle.
