Sorry I can't help with the CD changer but I feel the need to ask why Peg wants one.

It's not difficult to export the songs from the CD to MP3 format. There are no skipping or storage issues and if anything happens to the player the music will not be forever lost. I don't know about other MP3 players but my iPod organizes the music so the songs can be grouped together as if they were on the original CD. There are a lot of different ways the music can be organized and played.

Not trying to put you or Peg on the spot here, just wondering.

We also like having the CD changer on board. Bump skips are not bad on good roads.

When installing your changer make sure you use dielectric grease on the terminals. I had my unit mounted in the trunk on my last bike and it worked very well. If you mount it with minimal air space between the changer and the back you can still have room for a pair of full face helmets. Run your cable from the trunk foreword to the fairing so any extra cable can be coiled under the fairing out of sight and out of harms way. On my current bike I am planning on mounting it in the saddlebag with Velcro. Mostly because the cable already runs there and I am to lazy to rip it out, get a longer cable and pull the fairing, gas tank, and seats to put in a new one.

Best of Luck

Mike
