XV1100SE Posted August 12, 2014 Share #27 Posted August 12, 2014 Don If youre looking for Nolan gear these guys are Canadian and prices aren't bad with no exchange. Brian I've looked at them and a couple other local sites. Idea of ordering direct from J&M with headset already installed is appealing. I didn't have an problems installing our current headsets but I had a lot of second thoughts when I cut into my (brand new at the time) $400 Shoei helmet. It was like drilling the holes in my trunk lid for the luggage rack. J&M has 15% off promo code and depending on shipping cost vs picking it up in the States.... have to weigh the options. CaptainJoe Posted August 12, 2014 Author Share #28 Posted August 12, 2014 (edited) If I'm reading that correctly you would need this lower cord for 79.99 in addition: http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail.asp?ProductID=HC-ZC Plus the 619 for the helmet and headset/upper cord. "Nolan N44 solid-colors with J&M elite 629 series Integrated Headset Installed (includes Z-Series upper cord only)" $619.99 that's $700...ouch.... minus the 15% discount would be $595 Does this sound right? XV1100SE Posted August 12, 2014 Share #29 Posted August 12, 2014 That's if you go with the 629's (Elite) then you need the $79 lower cord (Z series). If you go with the 279's the cords are $30 (P series). The Z series cords are "heavy duty". On my Performance set I've already replaced a couple upper and lower cords (P series). If the $79 cords last longer than the cheaper ones it is equivalent
CaptainJoe Posted August 12, 2014 Author Share #30 Posted August 12, 2014 $230 headset + $300 for helmet +$80 lower cord=$610 Their price of $620 installed +$80 lower cord is $700... with the $105 discount takes it to $595 Heck yeah they are paying you $15 for getting the privilage to install your headset!
