Rare 1st Gen sighting

There are very few 1st Gens around here. Passed a dark blue light blue(89?) one at the Southridge shopping Mall in Charleston, West Virginia today!! Couldn't get turned around!! Anybody????

Soooooo,, does this mean that Dark Blue is now faster than Faded Blue?? Wellll,,,, you didnt specify exactly what you were asking when you said, anyone?

Nothing is faster than the old Faded Blue Beast!!! I couldn't find a headlight that would stay up with her!!! And had to plan tomorrows rides a day ahead of time!!! She was quick!! Nothing matches your 1st 1st Gen!!! AND SHE WOULD DO 110 MPH IN 3rd GEAR!!!

Hmmm. The Ol' Faded Blue Beast might be fast, but the flat black beast is pretty quick also. Wonder how we can put this to the test?

Yep they are getting rare... Went to an MC Swap meet Sunday morning. Lots of old Hardley parts. Metric was almost nada. While leaving a group of three riders were entering, and lo and behold one of them was a 1stGen.. He probably was just as disappointed as I was when he got inside. It amazing the amount of cr@p these guys collect over the years.... Think I might join them next year....
