cowpuc Posted August 8, 2014 #1 Posted August 8, 2014 She had a strange tone to her whimper this time.. Usually, when I parts chase I dont take the time to get Olivia, the WLA Harley, out.. I just jump on the Helix and go.. Well, this time she sounded funny so I caved and away we went.. When I drove past our local Library I suddenly understood her tones of desperation, I also found out I had been had... Silly Harley, tricks are for kids...

cowpuc Posted August 8, 2014 Author #6 Posted August 8, 2014 Are you still planning to bring Olivia to the M&E at the Hardly Museum? http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=87928 Funny you should ask that Jeff,, Olivia, Tip and I were just yakking about me doing exactly that.. Any idea how far from the cross lake ferry the museum is, and is the roadway going to the museum from the dock under 45 mph? Also, how far away from the docks do you live?
Flyinfool Posted August 8, 2014 #7 Posted August 8, 2014 Funny you should ask that Jeff,, Olivia, Tip and I were just yakking about me doing exactly that.. Any idea how far from the cross lake ferry the museum is, About 3.6 miles and is the roadway going to the museum from the dock under 45 mph? YES Also, how far away from the docks do you live?About 4.3 miles, also under 45MPH. It is 8 miles from my house to Hardly Museum. Can be kept under 45 if we take the scenic route. I know these are a long way for you for a single days ride ........

Stealthblade Posted August 8, 2014 #10 Posted August 8, 2014 Would be fitting to finally meet Cowpuc in Wisconsin. Earlier this year, My wife and I were in a hotel that he could see from his house, but circumstances prevented the meeting. Much better to do it on bikes 90 some odd miles from either of our homes. Enjoy the ferry ride, Puc. I want some pictures of Olivia.

Venture n Dixie Posted August 9, 2014 #12 Posted August 9, 2014 Does Olivia drink unleaded with no supplements?
cowpuc Posted August 9, 2014 Author #13 Posted August 9, 2014 Does Olivia drink unleaded with no supplements? Nope, the old girl's gotta have her vitamins,, shot of lead additive with an 87 octane chaser (I use to ride a KX500 2 stroke MX bike cross country and always poured my two stroke mix oil over the fill nozzle as I pumped gas into the tank - Olivia LOVES this trick for lead additive)! Her little 45 inch heart just amazes me. The military ordered these 45 inch power plants with a reduced compression ratio so they would run on low octane fuel..
