Front Rotors/Brake replacement??

Hello all, i have a 99 RSV and I'm about to replace the front brake rotors and pads. It there any special tools needed for this job? Is it pretty straight forward? Thanks!!

Torque wrench and hex sockets for the rotor screws. Replace the OEM .calipers with R1 or R6's.

Or early ('02-'05) Road Star Warrior or Late Model ('08-up) Road Star have the same 4-pot calipers. You'll also need the matching Master and these come in chrome.

 

On the same note, does anyone know if the late model floating rotors are a direct swap?

Thanks for the brake upgrade suggestions. I'm just going to keep it stock, fix a few key things and sell the bike. Spending way to much time fixing things than riding.
