kensattitude Posted August 2, 2014 #1 Posted August 2, 2014 Today I was hoping to tell you all about the new Hannigan conversion, post a bunch of pictures of the finished bike, HOWEVER................. I can not. Got a call from Justin and was informed that there was a problem. Now I am looking at next Friday. Oh well. S**t happens. Now I tell everyone that I "had a RSV once and wish I had it back". Patience isn't one of my strong points.
ragtop69gs Posted August 2, 2014 #2 Posted August 2, 2014 BUMMER on the delay. What problem came up ?
kensattitude Posted August 2, 2014 Author #3 Posted August 2, 2014 Justin said that they were having parts problems. My guess is they are behind.
bongobobny Posted August 2, 2014 #4 Posted August 2, 2014 Is the conversion at the factory or at a dealer? I had mine done at the factory...
leo3wheel Posted August 2, 2014 #5 Posted August 2, 2014 Justin, Can still remember our anguish caused by conversion delays. Summer of 2010 slipped by, and we got our trike around Labor Day. Feel your pain!
Motorcycle Mike Posted August 2, 2014 #7 Posted August 2, 2014 I feel your pain. It seems like 2 months since I orderd mine but it's only been 2 weeks. I feel like a 6 year old waiting on Christmas. The days are crawling by.
Bones158 Posted August 7, 2014 #8 Posted August 7, 2014 I feel your pain too. I know Jim Gooch HMS head mech has been away at Sturgis the last few weeks and is due back this week.
kensattitude Posted August 7, 2014 Author #9 Posted August 7, 2014 Called yesterday. Justin ran out to the shop and said they were bleeding the brakes. He said maybe Friday or Monday. :cool10:Might take a mini vacation and my trailer to Murray and watch the finishing work. The ole girl isn't a trailer queen but I will haul her back because I like my Explorer too much to leave it. Also will get me out of town for the weekend. The 127 yard sale is this weekend and these locals pay more attention to the road side vendors than on coming traffic. Anyone who lives by US 127 know what I mean.
eusa1 Posted August 7, 2014 #11 Posted August 7, 2014 be sure and post pics when you get it back!! I know it's hard to capture it in a photo, it is the fastest color combo!
kensattitude Posted August 7, 2014 Author #12 Posted August 7, 2014 what is the total conversion cost? $17603.07
dacheedah Posted August 7, 2014 #13 Posted August 7, 2014 Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DorffBill Posted August 7, 2014 #14 Posted August 7, 2014 Had My 2009 RSV Trikes 2 years ago and love it.
Motorcycle Mike Posted August 7, 2014 #15 Posted August 7, 2014 Now I'm just jealous. I know your excited. Monday will be 4 weeks since I ordered mine and it feels like 6 months. Congratulations. And make sure you take and post a bunch of pics.
