Challenge is there for you Bob. Considering Freebird has entered and Phil (who has seen my bike in person a number of times)....if they couldn't get perfect scores, you think you can ?

 

There are enough "hidden" gems - some obvious, some you have to think about - that everyone has a good shot at this. Hoping for several more contestants.

For some items (like the right side oem horn replacement) you had to consider how it it was mounted and wiring harness used.

 

Also had to notice or know :

- K&N air filters - these are required with the chrome air intakes

- engine guard brace didn't come with engine guard clamps

- tires - stock were Bridgestone. Front and back replaced with E3's

- air delflectors on fairing were originally clear. I painted mine black to match black of paint on lower part of fairing

- air horns below and behind passenger floorboards mounted using Slowrollwv brackets

- battery tender - close look in front of left side cover the quick connect cable is visible

- BuddyRich cable - with Zumo 660 and smartphone....who wouldn't install the BuddyRich cable?

 

Since taking the pictures and beginning the contest, I've :

- added a chrome choke knob cover

- added handle bar mounted tach

- replaced Stebel horn on right side of bike in original horn location - the chrome was flaking off so put the original OEM horn back on

 

Winter plans :

- chrome side covers

- stainless steel cables

- ....and maybe a few other things !
