BlueBeard Posted July 28, 2014 #1 Posted July 28, 2014 Has anyone installed vents on the lower fairings on their Tour Deluxe. Thought it might held in the Florida summers.
billmac Posted July 28, 2014 #2 Posted July 28, 2014 I have some. works well and closing them in the rain stops me from getting my pants wet below the knees.
billmac Posted July 28, 2014 #4 Posted July 28, 2014 vents? or the Yamaha smoked wind deflectors? people use both descriptions when asking, since he said lower fairing I thought he was talking about the wind deflectors.

Freebird Posted July 28, 2014 #9 Posted July 28, 2014 You are trying to upload pictures that are way too big. Max size is 640 x 480 and no more than 200,000 bytes.
Bodaggit23 Posted July 29, 2014 #10 Posted July 29, 2014 yes. can't upload the pic's don't know why. It's best to just get a Photobucket account and dedicate it to this forum like I did.
billmac Posted July 29, 2014 #11 Posted July 29, 2014 will try to down size them. not very good at computer stuff.
Long Tall Posted July 29, 2014 #12 Posted July 29, 2014 Not the best pictures but it will give you the idea. Mike I have these on my O6 and I think they work well. Help in rain also. NOTE: If I have them open in hot weather, I keep my feet up and out on the pegs. It does allow for hot air from motor to be forced backward. Remember that they do NO GOOD when stopped. BlueBeard Posted July 29, 2014 Author #13 Posted July 29, 2014 Thanks for the pictures. Where can I find a pair of these?
MikeWa Posted July 29, 2014 #14 Posted July 29, 2014 Thanks for the pictures. Where can I find a pair of these? Yamaha Sports Plaza or google the part number. STR-1D608-80-00 Mike
Drkngas Posted August 7, 2014 #16 Posted August 7, 2014 I hated those. Sold them on ebay. They interfered with my favorite peg position on my road pegs and the sent way to much Texas heat up on me.
