Radio Display Digit Intermittent

The 2nd digit from the left on the frequency display has started getting intermittent. I noticed this morning that it wasn't lit up. After a few minutes it lit up. A few more minutes and it went off and came back on like there is a loose connection inside. It stayed on the rest of my 30 minute ride to work. Has anyone else had this problem and what was your fix?

I guess I'm the only one that's had this problem. When I get time I may tear into the head and see if I can find a cracked solder joint. When it gets hot (when it's set in the sun all day) the digit comes on and stays on.

That would make sense having the display soldered to a board.

It would not be the first Yamaha Module that suffered from bad soldering.

My factory radio would work intermittently, better when warm out. I just upgraded to modern technology instead of messing with old.
