sarges46 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Marilyn needs new rear pads soon. We were going to change them out when I did her tire last week but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get those darn pads out'! Can someone help?
djh3 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 With out a picture I have no idea thats positive. I can tell you the RSV has a couple of pins that hold the pads in. the pins look to have a bolt head, but it actually has a couple of "R" clips that hold those pins in. They can be almost invisible if you dont look close. They keep the pins from falling out, which in turn keeps the pads in the caliper. I would think the V-star would be similar.
Monty Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Just get the pads, then when you come by here, I'll help ya change em out.
sarges46 Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 How's about you get em. I pay you of course. Take a week to get them here now.
Monty Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I can do that. Just let me know for sure if you're coming.
sarges46 Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Just got to put your address in the GPS! Thanks see you then.
Monty Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Need to verify if you're still coming here. If so, I'll get the pads & have them waiting.
