seat problem

well I have a nice solo seat on the bike. nice and comfy . with a back rest.

 

well now since my brother in-law had the stroke. and is in a home for now.

 

my niece has been after me to give her rides.

 

so I changed out the solo seat put the stock ones back on. so she can ride with.

 

her and I use to do a lot of things together.

she never had a father or much of a mother in her life.

 

grandma and grandpa have raised her,

 

along with me. as her grandpa asked me to be in her life

so she would have a male role model in her life.

 

not sure if that was a good choice? LOL

 

well I am having a problem with this stock seat. my arse hurts along with my back after about 60 miles of travel with her on the back.

 

my left leg the one I had a total knee replacement on some times gets a tingle feeling?

 

so I guess what I am asking is there a seat pad out there that will give my huge butt some padding? and some kind of back rest that will fit the stock seat?

 

I can not afford the one piece mustang or cobra seat with back rest and passenger seat all in one.

 

boy I sure do miss the mustang solo seat. I still have it but you can not install the passenger stock seat to it.

and this stock seat feels like I am sitting on a rock.

 

also if I can just get her to hang on to something besides the seat strap.

 

when I take off she yanks that strap. I don't lose control but it sure makes me think. I might. she has rode horses since she was 5 I think she is saying whoa stella LOL.

 

I love my niece to death she will graduate in 2015 and then she is off to another state for higher education.

 

I hope she will come and see her uncle oldgoat when summer comes.

Well I tell you what I can do to help . I have a Saddlmen Road Sofa seat with backrest in the shed. I can't sell it but I will let you use it till she go off to school and you can send it back to me.

What about a seat cushion? Maybe one of those gel cushions? I have not tried one, so I don't know what I am talking about.

local man here in my town said he can make me a memory foam seat cushion.

 

that will go on top of the stock seat with about and inch of padding ?

 

not sure what he is trying to do?

 

the saddleman seat sounds nice?

 

not sure if it is for a Honda shadow?

Get an Airhawk seat cushion. It is much better than gel pads. Made my wife very happy when I got her one.
