Dragonslayer Posted July 9, 2014 #1 Posted July 9, 2014 Hey Don, How hard would it be to add a automatic draft saver on to the word processing software as you write a post or personal message. I know you can save, or can you as you write. But, I find it helpfully when the computer does it for you. I can't remember how many times I have spent hours crafting the perfect post or message to bump the wrong thing and it disappears into cyber-space. Like it just now happened as I was writing a long message to Puc. When that happens it is every thing I can do to avoid putting a bullet through the monitor or shooting off an angry PM to you demanding a refund of my $12.00. I really don't want to do that. Mostly I just say screw it and move on without having said what I wanted to say. In fact I have started thinking of it as God being my editor and have to trust that karma didn't want me putting that out in the universe. Just saying.
Flyinfool Posted July 9, 2014 #2 Posted July 9, 2014 If I am making a post that is that big and or detailed. I will craft it in word where I have full auto save and editing features, and then cut and paste it into the forum reply box. I have only seen one other forum that has an auto save feature. It got to be annoying and I have been trying to figure out how to turn it off. I also tent to look where I am putting my fingers so as to not hit things I don't want to. Now if I can just get the letters on the keyboard lined up in alphabetical order so that I do not have to look so long to find them........
