I have a clamp on tachometer for my multimeter. Do I have to double the reading for the proper speed? I read that it fires on every stroke instead of just compression. Is this correct for a 2006 RSTD? If this is the case I have mine set to 500 rpm instead of 1000.

Thanks,

Scott

Never mind. Upon closer inspection this is NOT a waste spark engine. Each cylinder has it's own coil so the rpm read is actual engine speed.

Thanks,

Scott
