Eck Posted July 8, 2014 #3 Posted July 8, 2014 I may make a negative comment here and there about the heat, but I will take it over that white stuff any day....That is one major reason I moved south years ago......... I shoveled enough of that stuff in my day and I sure don't want to be shoveling any more of it ever again........ Yea, 88 / 92 degrees isn't so bad after all...
EasyRider Posted July 8, 2014 #4 Posted July 8, 2014 The wife just asked what that was a picture of. I replied me at age 10 walking to the car. After that picture figured out the red hat wasn't t0:snow: keep my ears warm it was so Mom could find me!

I have shoveled the green stuff and the brown stuff and the red stuff but never the white stuff. I always just wait a few minutes until it melts.
cowpuc Posted July 8, 2014 #6 Posted July 8, 2014 Ladies and gentlemen,, now here is a man with one warped sense of humor.. A man who truely needs a neighbor like FlyinFool with a genuine Wisconsin White Wash Machine to help him understand that there are some things that just arent funny!! Hey Bob,, Tip and I were up on the Sonora Pass,, located across the top of Yosemite NP.. We had bumped into a young couple who were hiking the Pacific Crest Trail,, 2600 miles of walking!! After chatting with them a while, Tippy spots some "white wash" under a tree about 50 feet from where we were.. Gets all excited and has to go over and play with the nasty stuff... The young lady hiker laughed,, looked at me and said "aint cha gonna go play in the snow?".. I looked at Tippy, looked back at the young lady and calmly replied, "you can tell who just spent 4 months running a snowblower moving that stuff around and who didnt, I wouldnt touch that nasty stuff for love ner money - AND I DIDNT! Gotta say though Dragonslayer,, I REALLY do appreciate this thread though!! Let it stand as a reminder to all of us poor souls who suffer with this plague upon mankind to GET OUT AND RIDE NOW!

I've stood in front of that sign before and probably have the same photo in my Pic directory somewhere.
