Well, I got my Hagon shock installed (Thanks again to various members here who had some nice write-ups on performing this task) and I finally managed to get a decent ride in on Wednesday. Definite difference and all to the good. I took the on-ramp to the QEW from hwy 406 at 10 kph over my usual speed (There are a couple of good sized bumps where sections of the road join together) and where the stock shock had me looking for a hinge in the frame, the Hagon just let me know there was a bump there and kept the bike right on the line I had set it on. Very nice. Ride was a bit stiffer, but not enough to bother even my messed up back so that was another definite plus. I am thrilled with my purchase especially when I see how much the stock shock would have cost. I would definitely recommend the Hagon to anyone wanting to replace or just improve the stock shock. The Works shock may be better (I've never ridden an RSV with one), but without knowing the difference I am thrilled with the Hagon. Left it with the settings from the company and it is doing the job very nicely.

I hope you get better service out of your Hagon than I am getting. I bought mine in March, I bought the heavy duty model as I ride 2 up a lot plus pull a trailer on long trips. At first I thought it was the greatest shock ever but I just got back from a 3000 mile little jaunt and it is toast. The dampening started to go away 1/2 way into my trip so I would adjust the dampening, it would be ok for about 1/2 the day then you could feel it fading again so I would adjust again. The shock only has 5500 miles on it and needs to be replaced or rebuilt. Hopefully I just got a dud and a replacement will last longer, we'll see if they will warranty it (they better, its only 4 months old). I only weigh 185 and my wife is about 140, 35# hitch weight so too much weight was not the problem.

Not trying to burst anyones bubble but I just thought I would share my experience with this shock.

Thanks ACE, seeing both sides of anything is a good thing, when I put my Hagon on I was thrilled and had no problems at all, I sold the bike so I don't have a long term report
